hello,
I am a student and I have an outline due tommorrow. I have been looking for
weeks now, trying to find a site that has the information I need and have not
been succesfull. My chemistry project is on the make-up of a roller coaster
track. I need to find out what elelments, and materials are inside of the
steel, or wood that allow it to be strong enough to hold the weight that is
pressed upon them. PLEASE respond to me as soon as you can. it is 1:15 at the
moment on November 4th. if you can just give me even the vagueset piece of
information on this topic I would be very greatful. Thank you for your time.

Hello, I just e-mailed you as well, but like many others I would love to know how I can learn how to build roller coasters of all types.
It is such a fealing when you ride a great roller coaster and I just hope that I could make one that makes that same fealing.
I have been looking for this answer for a long time and I hope you can let me know what to do. I am in my freshman year of college.
Thanks so much. Justin Rossetti

Hi there! Recently I have become extremely interested in wooden rollercoasters, and have been searching for anything and everything I could find on the net. I`m a member of Brighouse & Halifax Model Engineers, a miniature-railway based club where I live. I am also a keen musician and songwriter, and dream of becoming famous or maybe just making lots of money from royalties. A more realistic ambition of mine is to work for a coaster company, designing and building world renowned rides. Right now I`m about 3 weeks off 18 years old, and I`m off to Blackpool Pleasure Beach next weekend, as a kind of early birthday treat, then I`m going to Alton Towers in November as a late one! There are many defunct coasters I`ve learned about that I like the look of, but there is one that I would without a doubt take a ride on if someone decided to rebuild it somewhere;- the CRYSTAL BEACH CYCLONE, Ontario Canada, by Harry Traver, circa 1926-46 (or thereabouts). Would a company such as RCCA take on such a project?, would it be possible with modern safety regulations?, would modern coaster technology make it even more possible than it was back then? Please someone somewhere consider it seriously, it will be a great shame if the legend of the "Giant Safety Cyclone" dies away with the history books. Anyway, good site, superb coasters, keep it up! P.S;- You`ve definately not heard the last of me!!

I'm a big fan of the Hurricane(Now The Arkansas Twister). When I attended Boardwalk and Baseball I just couldn't get enough of this great ride. It saddens me that it is no longer part of Florida's coaster collection. Boardwalk and Baseball was a great park with a great trademark ride like the Hurricane. I am looking for photos and background info on this ride from it's beginnings in Florida to it's present day location. Anything would be appreciated.

I have truly been impressed from the collection of coasters your company has came up with, particulary Son Of Beast(I only wish PKI had let you guys take more time and finish the ride properly it could have been even better)
Me and a few folks right now have a park concept together, and are in the early works with Landmark Entertainment to get a theme park in or near Indianapolis, Indiana(Maybe even the Old Indiana site if we can get it)
We are looking to build a coaster in the "Southwest America" area of our park that is to be a wooden coaster. We are just not sure of exactly what style of wooden coaster we want to build.
Since our park is in the early development, any advice you can give us on wooden coasters to choose from or companies that would be willing to help us sponsor this park would be greatly appreciated since Central Indiana is without a Theme park and it's in a very good area
The best and easiest way to get ahold of me is at mossstorm@earthlink.net. I check email very frequently.
Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I know of one accident recently on Arrow's DEMON coaster, it got stuck upside down on the second loop with the rock , for approximatly an hour or so...no major injury occured, but much suing occured LOL. Also the reason why the Cajun cliffhanger is down this season, is becuase last season the floor came up to soon and smash a kids toes...so much for that ride...never liked it anyway and its old. time for new stuff. see ya

I just returned from a trip to Warner Bros. Movie World in Germany where I rode Wild Wild West. You built a fabulous coaster. I love coming back again and again.
I've already glanced at construction pix of your new Wild Wild West in Spain. Looks to become a great ride!

Does anyone have any rollercoaster toys you assemble yourself.
I saw a friend of mine that bought something like 10 years ago, that came with some silver ball bearings, some plastic wire tracks and a motor that swivels to bring the ball bearing to the top then goes down the track as like a real rollcoaster.

Great site! I'm currently working on the history of a defunct trolley park in Kalamazoo, Mi. (1893-1927) which included a wooden figure-8 roller coaster built in 1907. I need suggestions and information about who may have designed or built this particular model (PTC?, Natn'l Amusement Device Co.?, Ingersol?) and blueprints, drawings, specs, etc. for similar models. Email or check my website for further info. Thanks!!!

I had never ridden a roolercoaster in my life. Now in my very early 50's and having a young son who has no fear, I thank my no fear son from the bottom of my heart for getting me to ride with him on the Great American Scream Machine @ Six Flags over Georgia. I know have no fear of those ausome machines and ride as much as possible. I thank those who stay on track to build bigger and better coasters and by the way also keep me on the track.

I have always loved roller coasters. When I was a child in New Orleans at Ponchatrain Beach, they had a great wooden roller coaster. I vividly remember waiting in line w/ my brother for our turn - the other people were getting off, this man asked this women how she liked it, she replied, "I really liked it except I lost my teeth"! As she exclaimed this, she was covering her mouth with one hand.
